Skeletons in the Attic, Life in the Atrium: 100 Years of Medical Education at UW-Madison

This Ebling Library exhibit honors the School of Medicine and Public Health's centennial (1907-2007). This historic exhibit and gallery installation highlights the school's relationship with the University Hospital, the evolution of the preceptorial program and images of student life. John H. Van Vleck: 'The Middle Years'

The second exhibit in a series on John H. Van Vleck focuses on his part in the "quantum revolution" of the 1920s. He laid the foundation for understanding the magnetic properties of solids, and many of his discoveries have been used to develop materials in use today. 4220 Chamberlin, Jan. 1-May 31.
